Safetyload 1-piece load tensioner, Ø 13 mm. Essential when tensioning heavy loads. The 1-piece load tensioner is equipped with a pull-out safety device, fitted with an eye flap hook on one side and an assembled chain with flap hook and notch hook on the other side. The notch hook is equipped with a safety pin, which allows the chain to be adjusted to any desired length. The grade 80 load tensioner with a diameter of 13 mm ensures that the pre-tensioning force is transferred to the lashing chain in a controlled manner. There are different grades of steel from which lifting chains can be made, including grade 80, grade 100 and grade 120. These are the tear resistance grades of steel for use in lifting chains, steel cables and other similar structures. The higher the grade, the higher the tear resistance of the material. Grade 80 steel is one of the most commonly used materials for lifting chains and is well suited for most applications. It is strong, durable and has excellent corrosion resistance. However, it is not suitable for heavy and dangerous applications where the lifting chain must be loaded under high tension.
